Gonzales, Class President MI'65 (US) Comments: Since I've been a part of the MI Class '65 website, life has never been better and inspiring. Visiting our website while sipping coffee in the morning is a joy and is now part of my daily routine. I am so proud of this batch of '65 classmates. Potential leaders have stepped up from around the world, giving our website more meaning, color, purpose and continuity which I have not envisioned to exist with this bunch of classmates who have gathered by destiny to have a little fun seeing one another after 40 long years and in doing so - offer something great like a medical mission to our school and the class itself. Please send in your comments. The whole class will appreciate it and will try to improve our website. It is our plan to continue this neverending story of our MI Class '65 Family ! Thank you. From: Rolly
Malinis, MI'65 (US) To All My Classmates and Guests: the joy and excitement to meet my classmates 39 years ago would be an everlasting gift I would forever cherish. To our friends, please share with us your feelings and make this section a bridge to connect all of us. From: Lucy Cruz, US Outstanding! From: Monina
Tinio, Canada Congratulations in putting all this together! It is not easy, it calls for a lot of commitment and dedication to keep this on going. It truly shows the team spirit still exists in your Class'65. I am privileged to meet Sally Godoy Miranda and have her share with me the excitement of your coming reunion! I hope you have a wonderful get together. Yes those who have passed on, their families will truly find comfort to the fact that the lives of their loved ones, your classmates'lives are still able to touch yours and have meaning and purpose! God bless to all of you that expressed desire to now extend a helping hand where needed. I truly believe this is what class reunions should be: a chance to get together and see how they can help others, not to size up or flaunt each other's achievements, but to apply those achievements and discovered abilities to better others in need. God bless. Monina Tinio From: Gani Lazaro , MI'65
(Canada) "I truly believe this is what class reunions should be: a chance to get together and see how they can help others, not to size up or flaunt each other's achievements, but to apply those achievements and discovered abilities to better others in need." by Ms. Monina Tinio I fully agree with Ms. Tinio's comments. If we move away from that spirit and endorse or support the "sizing up or flaunting of each other's achievements," it will not be good, it will be counter-productive, detrimental and, to me, a waste of time! I hope most (if not all) of us will be together in fostering that spirit. From: Raffy(Paeng) Contreras
, MI'65 (Chino Hills, CA USA) Comments: I was hesitant to contribute to the guestbook of our MI65website, but with the urging of Speedy, here I am. Everybody knows that I am the silent type of person but I am looking forward to our Medical/Dental mission and reunion next year. What we are planning to do is wonderful, helping those in need while reminishing our high school days at the same time. Thanks to our hardworking classmates for doing this especially our classs president, Speedy. From: Evelyn Gregorio -
Peters, MI'65 (Dracut, MA USA) Comments: Being a "tech - moron", I am in awe of the genius of our webmaster Retired Colonel Rolando Malinis in creating, defining and refining our website! Since the day I had reconnected with our "groupie", my days start and end with me surfing the internet, reading the exchanges and the "news " from everyone! I am specially delighted to see the pictures of everyone!! They paint a very beautiful picture of the momentous event of our 40th reunion in June, 2005. The enthusiasm and perseverance by which Santy and his crew of headhunters relentlessly seek out our classmates is inspiring!! The heartfelt, selfless efforts of "mis classmates" to collect/fundraise for our medical mission is spiritually uplifting!! I said it once and I will say it over and over again till the end of time, I am so very proud to be a part of a group of dedicated, forever young adults,... MI class of 1965!! From: Tato & Sally
(Godoy) Miranda MI'65 (Canada) Comments: When we received the first call from Gerry, the MI Class '65 Website was born in our family. Edgar called the following day and we shared conversation and ideas about a medical mission before the reunion. That got us excited to participate in a project for those less unfortunate classmates and friends, one thing that we have both dreamed of doing together. Since then, we opened the internet everyday to read news and announcements by front line officers especially Rolly Malinis, the web designer. We are currently living a simple lifestyle here in Canada and nothing to complain about. We are happy the MI website is here to lighten up our days and nights. So to the officers and frontliners headed by Edgar, we are very proud of you and your able leadership. Merry Christmas to all ! MI CLASS '65 "WE SHARE" From: Joylyn (Godoy-Miranda)
Tinio (Canada) Comments: It is great to see the reunion. It is wonderful to see the togetherness that this website brings from near and from far. Helping through the medical mission, shows that the Meycauayan Institute - Class of 1965 is part of God's great creation. Looking back and my mother's history in school after these years gives me such a warm feeling in my heart. Thanks! Joylyn From: Lynn Cuenca Meycauayan College '87 Comments: Excellent!!! From: EDGARDO EMPERADO MI'65 (Philippines) I was impressed you are having such noble minds to share your God given gifts to less fortunate ones. That is actually my own dream, but I am physically incapable, because you'll feel more blessed to alleviate their pains than to feel it yourself. Expand your horizons in greater extent. From: FELIX NIETO MI'65 (Philippines) Ok yang medical mission kung ito ang paraan ng pagtulong sa kapwa. From: TEODORA SOLIS BAUTISTA MI'65 (Philippines) Happy but I have no idea about the mission. About the medical and dental mission, I'm quite confused, although it will be a very nice project. Confused in the sense that I have no idea on how to go over it. Shall we invite doctors and dentists? Any other crucial project for us to hold? From: MAXIMO ROXAS MI'65 (Philippines) I was surprised to see former schoolmates visit me. About the medical mission, it's a wonderful idea. Congrats and more power. From: CRESENCIANO

About the medical mission, well ok yan, if I can be of any help in voluntary mission, why not? From: CORAZON FRANCISCO MENDOZA MI'65 (Philippines) When first saw the head hunters, I had mixed feeling of joy and sadness. Joy for seeing familiar faces and sadness for the memories of my departed husband who was also our classmate. For sure, many will be benefited in our medical and dental mission but perhaps we must consider also the victims of Quezon tragedy. From: OSCAR LLANILLO MI'65 (Philippines) It was a surprised getting to talk with old friends and I'm happy with the renewed connections. I am also glad with the mission in MC. It would benefit a lot of people. I was from MI Class of '66. Both classes have the same teachers and it's really good to see the pictures and read the letters on the whereabouts of our teachers especially Miss Eugenio, Mrs Bernardo and Miss Roberto. From: Jerry Deganos MI'66 (Loma Linda, CA, USA ) Comments: MI Class '65 is doing a commendable job. Congratulations! Like Joe Cabigas, I belong to MI Class '66. We are right behind you. I hope our 40th reunion in 2006 will be as promising and successful as yours. May God bless you in your medical/dental mission. From: Delfin Zafra MI'65 (Los Angeles, CA, USA ) Comments: This wonderful website created by the genius of Ret. Col. Rolando Malinis of MI Class65 is now the venue through which we utilize the wonders of the information technology to reconnect with our past and relive the days of joys and pains of our high school years. Looking at the current photos of our classmates and the headhunters in action with newly found classmates, we silently smiled each time we recognize a face inspite of thinning and graying hairs or no hairs at all, wide or extra wide girths. And we felt admiration at a few who somehow stayed in shape and maintained their youthful looks. But what is most heartwarming is learning and seeing how classmates, both inside and outside of the country, are giving themselves to efforts being made not only for our class reunion, but more importantly, for the Medical/Dental mission that we are sponsoring. This proved that many of us were listening to our commencement speaker, Atty.Leon O. Ty, when he enjoined us to go out into the world and learn not only how to earn a living but also how to live; saying we may have the most of the material wealth of the world, but if we have not learned how to give ourselves to worthy causes, we have not learned how to live. Most of us followed his advice and now, MIClass65 can proudly say "We learned a little bit how to earn a living, but we learned a lot about how to live". From: Connie Donato MI'65 (Philippines) Comments: Edgar, Hi! I hope you still remember me--or at least my name rings a bell. We were school and batch mates for three years, and classmates for only one year--3rd year, Section A, in the advisory section of Miss Isabelita Quiambao. I always belonged to Section A1, was not very intelligent and therefore was not popular. I was neither at the top nor at the bottom of the class and four years must have passed that I was barely known. After high school, I have lost track of most of our batch mates--except Cora Evangelista Exaltacion, my kumadre, being the ninang of my only anak. I think I met you or talked to you (?) once when you were still connected with a local bank. Was it RCBC? I did not attend the December '74 reunion for reason I can't even explain. I did not hear about the June (Ruby) reunion until last January when I got a surprise call from Santy Morante, a school mate whose name I could not even recall. I almost refused to talk to him until he passed the phone to Armando Llenado, a name more familiar to me. I was in Meycauayan from January 4 to 12, but I was already here in Davao when they were able to contact me. I have not personally met any of the head hunters and the primemovers of the reunion. At first I was not thinking of attending the reunion. But following the developments through the website, I was awed at your zeal and drive towards the realization of the Ruby reunion. Believe talaga ako sa leadership mo. The same goes true to Santy and Mr. Clean (Rolly Malinis)and everybody else I "meet" everytime I open my inbox. I am now seriously considering going home in June. I might have to twist the arm of my boss for a leave in June--but I will try. If I can't wrestle the bull by the horn, I wrestle him by the tail. Ha ha ha. From:Ramon Martin MI'Alumnus (USA ) Comments: reading all the comments and reactions in your website makes my hair stand on end. It makes me feel proud being an MI'er myself, knowing that after so many years there are people who are tirelessly seeking their classmates to be together in this momentous renion. I hope and pray that the leaders of my batch will follow what your batch has started. To all the leaders of batch 65 I salute you and more power. I know this endeavour will be success. MABUHAY sa inyong lahat. From: Teresita Zamora Morales MI65(Australia) Comments: Greetings
from the Great Southern Land !!!Bravo to the creators and designer of
this great website. It is a colourful and scintillating piece of living
art which resurrects and reminisces our PS. I have attached my recent photograph in response to your 'current photos' page. Thank you and regards to everyone. From: Jerry Deganos MI66(US) Comments: My name is Jerry Degaños, a member of MI Class '66. I just want to express to you my appreciation for the website you put together for your class. I have visited countless websites and yours ranks among the best ones I like, and more so because the contents resonate with me-- the subjects are pretty close to my heart having occurred at Meycauayan Institute which is also my Alma Mater. I wish your class a grand time in your 40th reunion in June. Are you a professional webmaster, or is this just your hobby? This can be a loaded question. As you know our own 40th reunion is next year. Best wishes, From: Zenaida Sagayno Pacificador MI65(USA) Comments: I'm so proud
to be a member of MI Class '65.Our class is so fortunate to have leaders
who are giving their untiring efforts, time and money to ensure the success
of our grand reunion in June. May all the goals of this event be achieved.
God bless us all! From: Ricardo Dela Cruz MI65(US) Comments: It is a great pleasure and honor to belong to MI class 65. I am very excited and glad to join our Medical-Dental mission to be held at Meycauayan Institute in June 25,2005.I look forward to see you all my fellow alumni in our forthcoming and exciting reunion.May God Bless Us All. From: Edwin Gonzales (US) Comments: I am proud of you, Dad! From: Erlinda Barranda (US) Comments: I was a third year advisor of MI. I recall your class with Ms. Roberto. I helped organized the Y-Teens then that led to a counter activity of a meeting with a priest suspiciously launched by those who were either prejudiced or were not used to the unfamiliar. I would like to hear from you. Congratulations to all of you! From: Sid De la Cruz MI'63 (US) Comments: Congratulations to you Edgar and Rolly on your great website. I went through it and my mind immediately wandered down memory lane. From: Mike Mendoza (US) Comments: In "googling" the web, the site"MIClass1965" caught my eyes and I explored every corner of it. The site is very attractive and it made me want to search more (thus getting your e-mail address!). We also had our 25th year reunion in 1995 and by what I saw in your web site - I agree that your class had the best reunion. Even though I am not a part of your class, I am proud also to be a graduate of MI HS. The site made me reminisce my exciting HS days and reading the names mentioned made me remember you and some of your classmates. At the same time, It made me to be grateful that I was tutored by some of the same teachers of yours. I would like to tell you that I was touched by your (Thank You-To-All) e-mail you sent to your classmates and teachers. No doubt that you were the president and valedictorian of your class. Congratulation on your successful reunion and good luck to the Class65's future endeavors. From: Crisostomo Celon MI'65 Comments: Regards to

We are in the process of organizing a grand reunion for our batch (1993) and hoping that we will, at the least, have 50% of the batch to come. Our batch was a big one 1200+ so a 50% attendance would mean big to the organizers. We hope you can pass on us the secret of a sucessful reunion.
