2006 SCHOLARS

We are glad to announce the names of
our two new first year scholars. The two were selected after they hurdled
the examination and interviews that were given them by the MC Scholarship
Committee. After a quick deliberation by our own MI65 scholarship committee,
we have decided to concur with the decision of the committee.
The two new scholars are Lois Faye T. Valencia of 85-A St. James St.,
LFS Veinte Reales, Valenzuela, MM and Brian Kenneth A. Lunaria of 77 Villano
St., Zamora, Meycauayan, Bulacan. They will join our two current scholars
in the second year level, namely: Marie Fatima I. Gaw and Alyssa Marie
Diaz.
Loie Faye, who topped the examination given to students applying for scholarship,
is the daughter of a jobless father and whose mother is earning only Php5,000.00
a month. Brian Kenneth is our scholar from the 80 - 84 grade bracket.
His parents are food vendors na nagra-rasyon ng pagkain, particularly
lunch sa mga empleyeado ng Meycauayan College. Brian Kenneth's parents
are earning Php10,000.00 a months.
The Scholarship Committee, through the leadership
of Pareng Peping, visited our four scholars at Meycauayan College. Part
of our visit was the the handing of payment for the tuition fees &
books of our four (4) scholars in the amount of P91,624.00 to MC Scholarship
Committee Chairperson
Ma. Erlinda B. Pascual. Witnessing the ceremony were Mrs. Dolores Catalla
(HS Principal), Mrs. Fe Cardenas (Guidance Counselor), our four scholars
and all members of the Scholarship Committee. Thanks to the management
of Meycauayan College for hosting our luncheon during this meeting.
Members present were the ff: Peping Mendoza, Baby Lunaria, Benny Mateo,
Zeny Alarcon, Romy Villanueva, Fel Gumafelix, Gemmo Mateo, Litz Santiago
& Santy.
